D’où cela provient-il ?

Decyl cocoate is sourced from coconut oil, a natural oil extracted from the kernel or meat of mature coconuts. The fatty acids obtained from coconut oil undergo a chemical process called esterification, where they react with decyl alcohol to form decyl cocoate. This process results in a substance that maintains the moisturizing benefits of coconut oil while being more stable and less greasy.

Quels sont les bienfaits ?

  • Hydratant : excellent émollient, il peut adoucir et lisser la peau en retenant l’hydratation dans les couches externes de l’épiderme.
  • Toucher non gras : contrairement à certaines huiles, le cocoate de décyle offre une finition soyeuse et non grasse, ce qui le rend idéal pour des formules à la texture légère sur la peau.

Decyl cocoate is used in F09 Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream from OLIVEDA and 003 Dope Your Glow Face Cream from LA DOPE. Included for its lightweight and non-greasy properties that are ideal for oily or combination skin. It is also used as a texturizing emollient that also contributes to the absorption of other active ingredients.
