Corrective Cleansing Balm

Benefit

This lightweight, melting cleansing balm optimally preserves the skin’s moisture and comfort. The combination of gentle, bioactive ingredients supports the skin’s natural harmony and leaves it feeling soft and refreshed. It melts on contact with the skin, delivers intense hydration, thoroughly removes makeup and, thanks to hydroxytyrosol, protects against oxidative stress.

Application

Massage an almond-sized amount into the skin and remove with warm water. For an intensive moisturizing face mask, reapply and leave on for at least 10 minutes.

What do we stand for we?

We never list water as the first ingredient—unlike conventional emulsions. Our emulsion is completely free from water. That’s why our cell elixir from the leaf of Olea europaea (olive) comes first. However, water may appear in our INCI list when it is part of other raw materials.

Our formulas remain unchanged – even when nature changes.
For over 20 years, we have been developing products in synergy with nature, and our formulations have always stayed the same. Year after year, nature gives us a new harvest with its very own nuances – an olive or apple harvest tastes slightly different every time. Because we deliberately work with bioactive, untreated raw materials instead of refined ones, these natural variations in taste, color, and scent are an authentic part of our products.

All fragrance components listed in our INCIs are compositions of essential oils. In accordance with the EU Cosmetics Regulation, these must be declared under the term “parfum” or “fragrance”; plant-based allergens are listed separately. As a matter of principle, OLIVEDA does not use synthetic fragrances.

Our products are vegan, with the exception of those that contain honey from our own beekeeping, collagen peptides, or goat milk powder.

Our products are part of our holistic cycle: We protect overgrown mountain olive trees and obtain from them the unique, most powerful naturally occurring antioxidant, hydroxytyrosol, with which we create transformations in skin and lifestyle. The water we do not use in our products, we bring to people in Africa—by building water wells.

Our products are made in Germany from the raw materials of our own organically and eco-certified mountain olive trees. They are bioactive, organic, and cruelty-free.
